When the last piece of cake has been eaten and the last dance has seen itself out, the part of the night comes where we raise the lights and help clean up. The amount of garbage that is collected at the end of the night is often quite astonishing. There’s nearly three times as many cups used as there are guests and paper napkins can be seen lying all over the deck and floors. As a company that is surrounded by environmental beauty we want to do our best to help protect it and that is something that becomes rather difficult when the amount of garbage is accumulated as such. Ice caps are melting, scientists believe we are on the verge of Earth’s sixth mass extinction, and do we evenneed to discuss “trash island”?
We do our fair share of recycling and we would like to invite our brides to help us out and do the same. The Tannenbaum will now be offering compostable dinnerware products for purchase at the facility. Running at just under $3.00 a person these products offer stylish yet environmentally-conscious plates, bowls, and cutlery at very affordable prices.
We ask that you help us in our mission to keep our facility and neighboring forest as beautiful as it is now by remembering this newly offered service. No one ever said you can’t be environmentally aware and stylish at the same time!
